China Signs Up To IMF's Data Standards

China has signed up to the International Monetary Fund's Special Data Dissemination Standard, which the agency says will ensure timely and comprehensive economic statistics. Chinese data has often been criticized for lacking in quality. There are now 65 countries that follow the IMF's voluntary guidelines.
