Chemicals Firm Huntsman To Lay Off 120 People
Huntsman Corp. said it's going to cut 120 jobs in its color pigments business and said it's looking for further savings. It will close U.S. plants in Cartersville, Ga.; East St. Louis, Ill.; and King of Prussia, Pa. as well as one in Hainhausen, Germany. Huntsman, which in December announced it was cutting 900 jobs, said the move will contribute $20 million by the middle of 2016 to its plan to deliver more than $140 million in synergies.
