CDC Confirms First Case Of Ebola Virus In The U.S. -- Reports

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed Tuesday that the first known U.S. case of the deadly Ebola virus has been detected at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas, according to media reports. The hospital, in a separate statement issued Monday, said it had "admitted a patient into strict isolation to be evaluated for potential Ebola Virus Disease (EVD), based on the patient's symptoms and recent travel history."
