Campbell Soup profit rises
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Campbell Soup Co <CPB.N> reported higher quarterly profit on Monday, as higher sales of its snacks offset a decline in soup sales.
Campbell, the world's largest soup maker, said net income was $187 million, or 57 cents per share, in its fiscal third quarter ended on May 1, up from $168 million, or 49 cents per share, a year earlier.
Sales rose to $1.81 billion from $1.80 billion a year earlier.
