Boehner Invites Obama To Give State Of The Union Address Jan. 20

House Speaker John Boehner invited President Barack Obama to give the State of the Union address on Jan. 20. Boehner issued the invitation in a letter to Obama on Friday. "Your report will inform our efforts to address the people's priorities," Boehner, an Ohio Republican, said. Republicans will control both the House of Representatives and the Senate in the next Congress.
