Bernie Sanders Having Outpatient Hernia-repair Procedure

Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, who is running for the Democratic presidential nomination, is having an outpatient hernia-repair procedure Monday, his office said. The senator, who is trailing Hillary Clinton in polls for the nomination, is having the procedure at George Washington University hospital. Sanders' office said he will be back in the Senate Tuesday.
