Average price of gas in Rhode Island drops to $3.41 a gallon; has fallen 11 cents in a month
The average price of a gallon of gas in Rhode Island has fallen another 2 cents.
AAA Southern New England's weekly price survey Monday found the average cost of a gallon of self-serve regular in the state fell to $3.41.
The local price is down 11 cents in the last month. Still, the Rhode Island average is 7 cents more than the national per-gallon average.
Rhode Islanders were paying an average of 18 cents more per gallon, or $3.59, a year ago.
The survey found a 35-cent range, from a low of $3.29 a gallon to a high of $3.64 a gallon.
