Apple Closes At Record High

Apple Inc. closed an all-time high of $119.56 on Wednesday, topping its last closing high of $119 from Nov. 26. The record comes a week after the company reported record revenue on the back of strong iPhone sales. There also have been a number of upbeat news reports this week, including a 9to5Mac story that said Apple is building a new streaming service under the Beats Music brand, and from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech, that said sales of iPhones surpassed those of all phones operating on Google's Android operating system for the first time in the fourth quarter. Apple on Monday sold $6.5 billion in bonds. Its shares are up 64.5% over the last 12 months.
