Pandora Media Files for IPO of Up to $100M

Internet radio company Pandora Media Inc filed with regulators on Friday to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering of common stock.

The company, which runs an online music service that allows users to stream free music based on the music genome project, did not reveal the price range or the number of shares it plans to sell in the IPO.

Reuters had reported last month that Pandora was in talks with bankers to go public.

The company told the Securities and Exchange Commission in a filing that Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, William Blair & Co and Stifel Nicolaus Weisel will be the underwriters for the offering.
