What: A handmade teddy bear company

When: March 2011

How: Collins moved to the U.S. from South Africa in 2010 and decided to start up her own business after settling down with her new husband.

"I have always loved teddy bears in all shapes and sizes. I made them before as a hobby, and this helped me to incorporate my love for teddies, love of sewing and my entrepreneurship."

Where: Tucson, Ariz.

In her own words: "My bears are handmade, and they are all personalized. They are different from a commercially-produced bear."
