Small Business Spotlight: Daisho Creative Strategies
Who: Frank Irias, @Daisho_Creative
What: Advertising and marketing agency
When: 2007
Where: Miami
How: John Keepax began doing marketing work as a freelance business. As the business continued to grow, he partnered with Frank Irias in 2007 to launch Daisho Creative Solutions. The agency now employs an in-house team of six people and works with businesses in South Florida and elsewhere to help them create strong brands. According to its founders, Daisho’s marketing and advertising services have been called upon by the University of Miami, large companies such as Royal Caribbean International and local small businesses and firms.
“A law firm would have normally gone to a bigger agency and never talk to decision makers,” said Irias, who is the creative director for Daisho. “We provide years of experience that brands never had access to before.”
Irias said that while the company has done work for international clients, Daisho primarily serves South Florida businesses. He added that Daisho intends to remain small enough to retain face-to-face relationships with clients.
Quote from the owner: “Our speed to market is a big factor. We’re faster than a big agency. We can provide a better solution faster. The University of Miami and others see the value in working with a company this size.”
