Indiana Pizza Owner Scores $500K and Counting, After Gay Marriage Comments

Crystal O’Connor, the Indiana pizza owner, who refuses to cater gay weddings, is rolling in the dough, literally. Through Friday she has received over $500,000 in donations which continue to pour in.

During an appearance on FOX Business Network’s CAVUTO she responded to her critics.

“It is not a sin that we bring gays into our establishment, and to serve them. It is a sin, though, if we condone," she said. “If we cater their wedding. We feel we are participating, we are putting a stamp of approval on their wedding, and we cannot do that.”

Crystal, who owns Memories Pizza in Walkerton, Indiana, with her father Kevin O'Connor, has no firm date to reopen but vows to be up and running again.

“We have decided that we will reopen again,” she said, adding the ordeal has put her on edge. “I am still shaken over this, and I will be the one that’s serving the customers and answering phones and I’m not ready to face that yet..”
