How This $18K Investment Made This Man Millions

A smart investment is paying off big time for one man.

Eric Martin spent $18,000 participating in an online referral contest for Jet.com, which he won, and received 100,000 shares of common stock in the company. Recently, Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT) purchased Jet for $3.3 billion, making Martin a millionaire.

“It came so much faster than I thought,” Martin told the FOX Business Network.

Right now, he isn’t exactly sure what he will do with the money, but he said he will likely put it into his business.

“Definitely more in my business. I’m not sure yet with a lot of the money, but ideadash.com is my new startup,” he said.
