Clinton said she used an iPhone, BlackBerry, iPad and mini iPad in Silicon Valley last month

Hillary Rodham Clinton says she used a private email account when she served as secretary of state as a way to avoid carrying more than one electronic device.

But she recently said she now uses multiple electronic devices. During an interview at a women's conference in California's Silicon Valley last month, Clinton was asked by tech publisher Kara Swisher whether she preferred Apple's iPhone or Google's Android.

Clinton said she liked the iPhone but she also used a BlackBerry. She joked to Swisher that she was "two steps short of a hoarder" and has four electronic devices: an iPad, a mini-iPad, an iPhone and a BlackBerry.
