Home values rose in about one-fourth of housing markets from the third quarter of 2010 to the same period of 2011, according to data from the National Association of Realtors. See five hot markets where prices went up fastest.

Home values rose in about one-fourth of housing markets from the third quarter of 2010 to the same period of 2011, including Grand Rapids, Mich., where home values went from $89,900 to $111,200, up 23.7 percent.

Home values rose in about one-fourth of housing markets from the third quarter of 2010 to the same period of 2011, including Youngstown-Warren-Boardman, Ohio-Pa., where home values went from $60,400 to $68,300, up 13.1 percent.

Home values rose in about one-quarter of housing markets from the third quarter of 2010 to the same period of 2011, including Green Bay, Wis., where home values went from $120,500 to $135,700, up 12.6 percent.
