Building His Own Wall: Trump's Most Controversial Comments


In about two months, the United States will have a new president who will be tasked with confronting a list of pressing issues including immigration, ISIS, and the stagnating economy – just to name a few. As democratic nominee Hillary Clinton attempts to stay out of the limelight after the discovery of 15,000 new deleted emails, her rival Donald Trump, took a trip outside the country.

Early Wednesday afternoon, Trump made his way across the border to meet with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto. Although the meeting between Trump and Peña Nieto was private, trade, drugs, illegal immigration, and of course, the wall, were all topics of discussion.

Illegal immigration and U.S.-Mexico relations have been prime focal points of Trump’s campaign. However, the Republican presidential nominee’s comments and social media posts on the subject have caused problems with the Hispanic community.
