Not to be undercut by Apple, Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) last week began shipping its Streak tablet for $299.99 with a two-year contract with AT&T (NYSE:T) and $549.99 sans contract. The Dell Streak runs on the Android operating systems, has a five- inch touch screen, built in Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth and 3G connectivity. With the Streak, business users can listen to music, surf the Web, e-mail, and make phone calls. For the environmentally-conscience users the Streak is packaged with cushions made from 100% sustainable, compostable bamboo.
