The British cave explorer suing Elon Musk for calling him a “pedo guy” on Twitter testified on Thursday that his criticism of the Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) chief executive that led to the tweet was not a personal attack.

Elon Musk insisted his “pedo guy” Twitter message at the heart of a defamation trial was an “off-the-cuff” insult.

Elon Musk testified Tuesday that he was being insulting, not literally calling a British cave diver a pedophile when he lashed out on Twitter and ended up in a defamation lawsuit from the man who helped rescue a dozen boys and their soccer coach from a flooded Thailand cave last year.

Billionaire Tesla Inc. boss Elon Musk went on trial on Tuesday in a defamation lawsuit brought by a British man who accuses Musk of falsely branding him a pedophile in a Twitter message last year.

Short sellers currently have a $9.5 billion bet against Tesla.

Elon Musk is going on trial Tuesday for his troublesome tweets in a defamation case pitting the billionaire against a British diver he allegedly branded a pedophile.

Musk has been promoting the Cybertruck on Twitter and cryptically tweeting out updates to the number of orders the company has received since the launch late Thursday.

All six workers who complained were fired.

Tesla Inc’s chief executive, Elon Musk, will testify in his own defense in a defamation lawsuit brought by a British cave explorer, Musk’s lawyer said on Monday in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.

“There's no question about it: The future of mobility is electric,” Blink Charging Company CEO said.
