Some workers at  Amazon warehouse facilities across the U.S. have tested positive for COVID-19 as of Thursday morning, and some are worried that Amazon hasn't enforced enough safety rules to make sure other employees don't get infected.

Walkouts occurred at several warehouses around the country on Monday. Employees were protesting what they said were unsafe conditions during the coronavirus pandemic.

A five-year Amazon employee who was fired Monday after staging a small walkout at a Staten Island warehouse over conditions amid the coronavirus pandemic told FOX Business it was "retaliation."

Amazon said the employee allegedly violated terms of employment, including leaving a paid quarantine to participate in the demonstration

Labor group Whole Worker asked employees to call out sick to protest for better working conditions.

The shopping behemoth’s website encompasses tens of millions of items across scores of product categories.

Around 300 people work at the site, more than two-thirds of them independent couriers delivering parcels for the world's largest online retailer.
