The '90s was a "lost" decade for Japan. Will it happen here?

"It's already happening here and it has been for some time. If you're a stock market investor you've already experienced a lost decade... almost zero returns for the last ten years... your home value is down to something like 2001 values."
So said Rick Newman, chief business correspondent for U.S. News & World Report, who sat down with Stuart and the company this morning.
Newman added that the stagnation we are seeing in the economy needs time to shake out.
"We're working through a lot of problems. And that's the good news. It's like in housing. This has to happen without government subsidies at some point and we're starting."
