US stocks on track for record finish

U.S. stock indexes could close at a record high again on Monday, even after they seesawed following an explosion that rocked New York City’s Port Authority Bus Terminal during the busy morning commute.

Ticker Security Last Change Change %
DIA SPDR DOW JONES INDL AVG ETF TR SER'1'UNITS 377.48 -0.53 -0.14%
SPY SPDR S&P 500 ETF 500.47 -2.99 -0.59%
QQQ INVESCO QQQ NASDAQ 100 425.84 -5.26 -1.22%

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was higher before the explosion, it trimmed its losses, but then opened in negative territory before regrouping as the trading session went underway.

With both the Dow and the S&P 500 slightly positive, they are on track for their second-consecutive record close.

Any gain for the Dow on Monday would put it at a record close.
