Sen. Lindsey Graham is preparing to send a motion that declares war on ISIS after Thanksgiving. He said declaring war on ISIS would “allow this President and every other president to do whatever is necessary to destroy ISIL before they hit us here at home.”

When asked whether President Obama would veto the bill he said: “I can’t make him do what’s right but I’m going to give him a plan to win this war… Let the President of the United States veto an action to give him unlimited authority to destroy the most radical terrorist organization on the planet. They are more lethal than Al Qaeda. They are coming here if we don’t stop them over there.”

Sen. Graham argued you need a total of 100,000 troops, with 10,000 American boots on the ground to defeat ISIS.

“10,000 is not enough -- but that’s enough to give the Arabs in Turkey the capacity they need to win,” he said.

He also explained why he believed Congress would approve the declaration of war.
