The markets appeared to start the day strong, but lost their gains going into the close. The Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq all closing in the red on Monday. The health care and industrial sectors weighed on the Dow. General Electric led the Dow on Friday, but dragged it down today. There was a little green in the markets Monday, the Russell Small Cap Index hit an all-time high. The index just stopped short of a record close.

The 2016 presidential campaign is getting a little more crowded -- Florida Senator Marco Rubio joined fellow Republican Senators Ted Cruz and Rand Paul in a bid for the GOP nomination. Rubio enters the race just a day after Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton threw her had in the ring for the Democratic bid. And weather aborted the launch of SpaceX -- its attempt to launch its Falcon capsule full of supplies for the International Space Station. The launch was scrapped with two minutes and 39 seconds left on the countdown because of lightening. The launch is prescheduled for Tuesday.
