Claman on Call: Russell 2000 Closes at Record High

It was a mixed day for the markets as the Dow and S&P 500 fell back into the red. The two major indices have alternated between gains and losses for six days.

On the flip side, the Russell 2000 closed at a record high, the eleventh record close of 2015.

Also on the rise Thursday, Facebook hit a record high. The stock has gained nearly 6% since the company announced a new payment service for the messenger app.

And energy companies took a hit following reports from Reuters that a draft of a nuclear deal with Iran is under proposal. A deal could lead to an even greater supply of oil.

Now, here's what you need to watch tomorrow: All the major indices are higher for the week as we head into Friday. We may witness some increased trading volume due to quadruple witching. And we'll hear from two fed members: Atlanta Fed President Dennis Lockhart and Chicago Fed President Charles Evans.
