Elevator Pitch: Tiny Kitchen Pitches Risk & Reward

Tiny Kitchen Brands founder Philip Crouse will be making his pitch to FOX Business’ Deirdre Bolton on Friday.

The startup aims to provide restaurants an alternative to traditional soda.

Crouse introduced the Cup & Compass line of beverages in spring of 2012 at Dos Toros, a popular Mexican restaurant chain in New York City. Flavors include ginger green tea and hibiscus lemonade, with organic sodas set to launch this summer.

Cup & Compass is now distributed to 30 restaurants throughout the Northeast. Restaurants include Bareburger, Untamed Sandwiches and Mayhem & South.

The company says they are “setting out to revitalize the beverage fountain and we are just getting started.” Tiny Kitchen uses all natural ingredients in its juices, teas and soda alternatives.

Crouse will be making the case for Tiny Kitchen on FOX Business’ "Risk & Reward" to noted investors Hilary Mason from Accel Partners, angel investor Peter Shankman, and Angela Lee, founder of 37 Angels.

A graduate of Columbia Business School, Crouse recently closed a round of seed funding totaling $250,000. Columbia led the investment through the business school’s venture fund, known as the Lang fund.
