LeapFrog (LF) was a significant gainer in the sector, rising 9%. The stock closed at $11.38 with 3.4 million shares moving. The stock traded in a range of $10.42 to $11.79. Crocs (CROX) was another big mover, climbing $1.11 (+7%) to a closing price of $16.97.
LSI Industries (LYTS) was a major loser in the sector. Its price dropped 6.2% (-46 cents) to close at $6.92, as 75,004 shares moved. The stock traded between $6.76 and $7.33. Share price is up 80 cents (13.1%) from $6.12 on June 5, 2012.
G-III Apparel Group (GIII) climbed 3.7% to close at $25.89, moving past its 200-day moving average of $25.04. Sony Corporation (SNE) declined 3.4% to close at $13.78, moving below its 50-day moving average of $13.73 and 200-day moving average of $16.96.
Deckers Outdoor (DECK) rose 7.5% to close at $47.49, approaching its 50-day moving average of $49.87. It has also moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $67.76. R.G. Barry (DFZ) fell 2% to close at $13, moving down to 2.5% above its 200-day moving average of $12.67.
Tower International (TOWR) hit a new 52-week low today, hitting $9.44 to fall below the previous low of $9.45.
