Iowa, which produces one in every five eggs, became the latest state to disclose it is battling a new strain of the Bird Flu, which clinically is characterized as a version of HPAI (highly pathogenic avian influenza). Companies including Hormel Foods (NYSE:HRL), Pilgrim's Pride (NYSE:PPC) and Tyson Foods (NYSE:TSN) are now under the microscope from investors.
