“I want all the gym members to recognize that we’re all teammates, it doesn’t matter your fitness level,” Alysia Montano, a middle distance runner and seven-time U.S. Outdoor National Champion, tells FOXBusiness.com.

Montano had her Olympic hopes dashed when she tripped and fell in the 800m final at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials in July.

“It’s a lot of sacrifice. We spend more than just four years of our lives really trying to make a dream come true,” she adds.

Now Montano and four other Team USA athletes including gold medalist swimmer Conor Dwyer, two-time world champion triathlete Gwen Jorgensen and Paralympic athletes Lex Gillette and Cortney Jordan are teaming up with 24 Hour Fitness – one of the world’s largest privately owned fitness chains with over 450 locations in the U.S. – to create the ultimate workout.

“Our members have told us over the years that they find a lot of inspiration in our U.S. Olympic partnership and they’re inspired by the fact that we support the athletes,” Victoria Hoe, Director of Olympic Games Partnership at 24 Hour Fitness, tells FOXBusiness.com.

The brand has been an Olympic sponsor since 2004 by providing all of the fitness equipment used at the Olympic training center as well as giving their members Olympic inspired workouts.

Pete Mo, a group fitness trainer in New York City, teaches the “Team USA Bootcamp,” which is a high intensity workout designed by the athletes themselves. He says he’s noticed a lot more traffic in his class since the start of games.

“I notice it when they come into my class everyone is wearing their USA paraphernalia,” he adds.

The fitness chain has also seen a boost in their membership numbers.

“In the 2012 Olympics in London, we did a lot of analysis and found that our workout numbers and guest traffic was up during the Olympic Games and normally August is a pretty slow month in this industry,” says Hoe.

And this isn’t just any ole’ bootcamp either. Each “Team 24” athlete gave part of their own fitness routine to ensure the highest level of calorie-burning.

“I gave them some of my explosive leg exercises to include,” says Montano. “I’m really sorry everyone but you got yourself a butt kicking workout.”

Montano says even though she didn’t make it to Rio this year, she still loves being a fitness inspiration to others.

“I spend about six hours a day—and that’s at the very least—honing in on my craft on a physical aspect. Every single day goes into becoming or hopefully becoming an Olympian.”


Team USA Bootcamp Sample Workout

Cardio Challenge, Time: 10 minutes, Rounds: 2

Format: Do each move for 30 seconds. Rest for 30 seconds. Complete the next move in the circuit for 30 seconds. Rest for 30 seconds. Continue until you finish all five moves. Then repeat the circuit again for a total of two rounds, before moving on to the Team USA Challenge.

Circuit Moves:
-X Springing Squats
-3 Shuffle to 3 Split Jump Side to Side
-Runner’s Lunge to High-Knee Hop
-Switching Mountain Climbers
-Quadruped Kick-Throughs

Team USA Challenge: Time: 3 minutes. Rounds: 1
Format: Do each move for 30 seconds using your maximum effort. Rest for 30 seconds. Complete the next move in the circuit for 30 seconds. Rest for 30 seconds. Continue until you finish all three moves.
-Scissor Jacks
-High Knees
-Jump Squats

Upper-Body Circuit, Time: 6 minutes. Rounds: 2

Format: Do each move for 30 seconds. Rest for 30 seconds. Complete the next move in the circuit for 30 seconds. Rest for 30 seconds. Continue until you finish all three moves. Then repeat the entire circuit for a total of two rounds before moving on to the Team USA Challenge.

Circuit Moves:
-Renegade Rows with Dumbbell
-Bilateral Weighted Dumbbell Flyes
-Curl-to-Press with Unilateral Leg Balance with Dumbbells
