“When your life doesn’t match your blueprint of how you expect it to be, you’re upset. When it matches, you’re happy. When it doesn’t match and you feel there’s nothing you can do, that’s when people suffer. There’s always something you can do. It’s digging in and getting rid of the belief that it’s a permanent problem or pervasive. If my finances are messed up, my whole life is messed up. It’s just not true,” he told the FOX Business Network in an exclusive interview.

Robbins says the best way to be influential is to focus on mastering one thing.

“Most people overestimate what they can do in a year. And they underestimate what they can do in a decade, or two or threeSo there’s a concentration of power that happens when every single day you’re having to improve… Most people split their focus across so many things. If you can truly become a master of something then you become the voice that people look for,” he said.

He also weighed in on Donald Trump.

“He’s harnessed a level of anger, just as Bernie [Sanders] has, that we have not seen in the electorate for a very, very long time. I know Donald really well. He’s an amazing businessman. He’s a great salesman. And I don’t think his rivals took him serious, soon enough,” he said.
