Bethenny Frankel’s Advice to Entrepreneurs

“The Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel is taking her successful career to a new level with her Skinnygirl business. During an interview on FOX Business Network’s After the Bell, Frankel shared advice for future entrepreneurs.

“Step one is finding out if the idea already exists, which does not mean you shouldn’t do it,” the TV star told FBN’s Melissa Francis.

She added: “Be passionate about [the idea] and keep it moving and make it happen… You have to know if your idea is original enough, and if you can get out there first and best and strongest.”

The reality TV star said implementing that idea is one of the most important aspects of getting started on the road to success.

“It’s about the executor, who gets to the wall first and doesn’t look to the left or the right,” Frankel said.

Frankel also pointed out some common errors that entrepreneurs should watch out for when starting or running their own business.

“The mistakes would be not really looking at all the fine print and not thinking ahead,” she said. “You want to make sure you get the trademark. People don’t think about intellectual property enough.”
