Top 10 Crowdfunded Companies in 2013

From celebs like Zach Braff and Matt Damon to the entrepreneurs behind just-launched companies, crowdfunding has become all the rage for people looking to rally support behind a creative idea.

It’s also become extremely lucrative, with some businesses succeeding in raising millions of dollars.

Recently, Entrepreneur released its first-ever Top 100 Crowdfunded Companies list, partnering with the Crowdfunding Academy and Babson College to figure out which businesses raised the most money this year on sites like Kickstarter, Fundable and Indiegogo.

Dominating the top of the list? Gaming companies like Ouya, who is manufacturing an open-source game console, and inXile entertainment, which makes video games.
