Join the Conversation @ Small Business Week’s Google+ Hangouts

National Small Business Week kicks off today in Seattle, with panels on small businesses going global, social media strategies and cyber-security threats.

In addition to the in-person events – which continue throughout the week in Dallas, St. Louis, Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C. – the SBA is hosting Google+ Hangouts, where small business owners can come together to discuss important issues with industry experts.

All of the digital hangouts will begin at 4 p.m. ET and can be viewed at the SBA’s Google+ page.

The first topic of conversation? How to get started on social media as a small business owner.

Today’s experts include Google+ marketing expert Ria Tobaccowala, Twitter’s head of SMB marketing Christine Tseng, Constant Contact’s senior manager of social media marketing Erica Ayotte, and W20 Group managing director Aaron Strout.

The other Google+ discussions will be on managing your online reputation, the importance of business mentorship and how to get a business loan. To join the conversation, write in on Google+ or on Twitter using the hashtag #SBW2013.
