Dell (DELL) has named Steve Felice chief commercial officer responsible for all of its customer business segments.

The moves come as Paul Bell, president of its public and large enterprise unit, announces his intention to retire at the end of March.
With Felice heading up the company’s sales and marketing organization, the computer maker said the move will bring the company even closer to its customers and increase the “speed, agility and responsiveness” of the business.
Felice joined Dell in 1999 and currently serves as president of consumer, small and medium business. Starting Feb. 4, he will lead the company's unified sales and marketing organization.
Dell also plans to accelerate its new go-to-market strategy, which it hopes will simplify the company’s face time with customers.
