Oil States International, Inc. engages in the provision of manufactured products and services used in the drilling, completion, subsea, production, and infrastructure sectors of the oil and natural gas industry, as well as in the industrial and military sectors. It operates through the following segments: Offshore Manufactured Products, Completion and Production Services, Downhole Technologies, and Corporate. The Offshore Manufactured Products segment is involved in the design, manufacture, and market of capital equipment utilized on floating production systems, subsea pipeline infrastructure, and offshore drilling rigs and vessels, along with short-cycle, and other products. The Completion and Production Services segment focuses on the provision of equipment and services that are used to establish and maintain the flow of oil and natural gas from a well throughout its life cycle. The Downhole Technologies segment refers to the provision of oil and gas perforation systems and downhole tools in support of completion, intervention, wireline, and well abandonment operations. The Corporate segment represents the corporate expenses, such as those related to corporate governance, stock-based compensation, and other infrastructure support. The company was founded in July 1995 and is headquartered in Houston, TX.
