Yum unit Taco Bell to open 9,000 restaurants in U.S. by 2022-end

Taco Bell Corp, a unit of Yum Brands Inc , said on Friday it would open 9,000 restaurants in the United States by the end of 2022, creating 100,000 new jobs, just four days after its parent completed the spin-off of its China unit.

Taco Bell, which currently operates about 7,000 units across the United States, had revenue of about $2 billion in 2015.
