Trish Regan: Democrats should be nervous
Americans don't believe in open borders and giveaways
Not one Democrat has come forward in defense of everyday, middle-class Americans after CNN, a major news outlet and one that prides itself on its so-called “journalism,” told us what it really thinks of hard-working Americans.
During CNN anchor Don Lemon's show, he and his panel seemingly mocked Trump and his supporters, using fake Southern accents. Lemon laughed so uncontrollably he had to wipe tears from his eyes.
CNN proving why increasingly so many long-time Democrats are leaving the Democrat party, as well as why the liberal media was totally wrong about Donald Trump in 2016.
The elite cannot understand why President Trump is liked by so many Americans, nor why people flock to his rallies. Yet, it’s in part because they believe he “gets“ them. They believe he understands and, most importantly, respects their economic values and their dreams.
For many Americans, Trump is the antithesis of the leftist elite.

This is the extreme left’s problem in both television and in politics. Whether it be lousy ratings on TV or getting votes, if you don’t listen to and understand Americans, you’ll pay the price at the ballot box.
Democrats risk losing in 2020 because someone else right now is listening. Someone else that suggests he understands Americans want opportunity. Americans want to work. We want to take care of our families. It’s in our DNA, the American work ethic. And that someone else is changing the parties as we know them. That someone else is Trump.

Indeed, Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale highlighted some rather mind-boggling data about who attended Trump's rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, on Tuesday. According to Parscale, more than 158,000 people requested tickets, over 73,000 of those people were registered voters, 26 percent of them are registered Democrats, 10 percent of them are people who didn’t vote in 2016.

That’s some serious data. If I were the Democrats, I’d be nervous because as much as they push open borders and giveaways, the truth is, Americans don’t believe in that.
So I challenge Democratic lawmakers to criticize the mainstream media for making fun of America. I challenge them to be on the side of America and Americans for a change. And you know what? It might even do them a little good.
The clock is ticking. November is almost here.
