Sanctuary cities can go away overnight: Judge Napolitano
President Trump can have his way on immigration reform, according to Judge Andrew Napolitano, who said sanctuary cities can “go away overnight.”
“Congress must make a contractual obligation to cooperate with ICE,” Judge Napolitano told FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo on “Mornings with Maria.” “When we have a budget that language should be in there --- the president will get his way, the sanctuary cities will go away overnight.”
The Department of Justice on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against California that alleges obstruction of immigration enforcement.
The lawsuit targets three sanctuary-focused laws passed in the state as a counterattack against President Trump’s pledge to step up immigration enforcement.
