Zoetis Raises Quarterly Dividend 15%

Zoetis Inc. said on Wednesday that it will raise its quarterly dividend by 15% to 8.3 cents a share. The new dividend will be paid on March 3, 2015 to shareholders of record as of Jan. 22. On an annual basis, the new dividend represents a yield of 0.8% on the stock, based on Wednesday's closing price $41.13. The animal health company's stock edged up 0.3% in after-hours trade. It has run up 26% this year through Wednesday's close, compared with an 8.9% gain in the S&P 500.
