Xtera Communications Files For IPO

Xtera Communications Inc. on Monday filed for an initial public offering of up to $60 million. Needham & Co., Cowen and Co. and BMO Capital Markets are underwriters on the deal, the optical networks company said in a preliminary regulatory filing. The company is planning to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "XCOM."
