Woman To Feature On New $10 Bill, Lew Says

A newly redesigned $10 note will feature a woman, U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew said in a statement. That will be the first bill in more than a century to feature the portrait of a woman, he said. In addition to featuring a woman, the new $10 note will include a tactile feature that increases accessibility for the visually impaired. Lew will announce the selection later this year.
