Winnipeg Jets' playoff tickets sell out in less than 5 minutes
Jets fans have waited a long time for playoff hockey to return to Winnipeg.
The Jets announced Tuesday that individual tickets to Games 3 and 4 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series against Anaheim sold out in less than five minutes.
The announcement comes as little surprise. The Jets have an enthusiastic fan base that has been waiting 19 years for postseason hockey to return to Manitoba's capital.
Winnipeg's 15,016-seat MTS Centre also has the smallest capacity in the NHL.
The Jets' series with the Ducks opens with games Thursday and Saturday in Anaheim.
The series returns to Winnipeg next week for games Monday and Wednesday.
