Wayfair Shares Surge 23% In NYSE Debut

Shares in online home-furnishings retailer Wayfair Inc. surged 23% in early trade Thursday after shares in its initial public offering were priced above the indicated range. Wayfair traded as high as $37 on the New York Stock Exchange, compared with its $29 IPO price. Trading began at $36, and shares recently traded at $35.66.
