VMware, Google Team On Enterprise Cloud Product

VMware and Google announced an expanded version of their collaboration on Thursday to improve their cloud services for enterprise customers. As part of the agreement, the two will tightly integrate the Google Cloud platform with VMware's vCloud Air. Initial Google services that will be available through the VMware platform will be Google cloud storage, Google's real-time big-data analytics service BigQuery, Google's cloud datastore and a domain name system service. The combined product is expected to be available later this year. Google and Apple have been competing for more control over the enterprise space.
