Vivint Solar Up a Penny; Early First-day Gains Burn Off

Vivint Solar Inc. shares gained a penny on their first day of trading following the solar installer's $330 million IPO. Vivint Solar had gained more than 7% earlier Wednesday. The residential solar installer, a direct competitor of SolarCity Corp., priced its IPO at $16, at the low end of expectations, and opened at $17.01. Shares of SolarCity ended Wednesday down 5.3%.
