Visa Names Vasant Prabhu CFO

Visa Inc. said Monday it has appointed Vasant Prabhu as chief financial officer, effective Feb. 9. Prabhu, who was most recently CFO of NBCUniversal Media LLC, will succeed Byron Pollitt, who is retiring. Prior to joining NBCUniversal in 2014, the executive was CFO for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. and has held roles at Safeway Inc., The McGraw Hill Companies and PepsiCo Inc . Visa shares were barely changed in after-hours trade, and are down 5.6% in the last three months, matching the performance of the Dow Jones Industrial Average.
