UTi Worldwide Shares Fall On Wider-than-expected Loss

UTi Worldwide Inc. shares fell in the extended session Tuesday after the transporation and shipping company reported a wider-than-expected loss for the quarter. UTi shares dropped 11% to $10.99 on moderate volume. the company reported a fiscal fourth-quarter loss of $1.02 a share on revenue of $964.6 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated a loss of 8 cents a share on revenue of $1.08 billion.
