USGS: 7.1-magnitude Earthquake Strikes Near Indonesia

A 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck about 100 miles northwest of the Indonesian coast Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center initially issued a tsunami warning which was subsequently lifted. Large earthquakes near Indonesia are common, according to the USGS.
