Urban Outfitters Shares Climb After January Same-store Sales Increase

Urban Outfitters Inc. shares advanced in the extended session Monday after the specialty retailer reported a rise in January same-store sales. Shares of Urban Outfitters rose 7.6% to $39.30 on moderate activity. The company said January same-store sales increased 6% companywide. Urban Outfitters was expected to post a 3.7% gain, according to Retail Metrics.
