Manchester School Superintendent Debra Livingston said it will provide a much needed pipeline of highly educated workers to lead the city's schools.
"The new M.Ed. degree program has the potential to change the landscape of education in Manchester," she said.
University system officials said the program was developed in response to the demand to have more teachers qualified to teach at the college level and will build on the strengths of each institution.
