United Natural Shares Tick Higher After Earnings, New CFO

United Natural Foods Inc. rose in the extended session Tuesday after the food distributor reported in-line earnings for the fourth quarter and announced a new financial chief. United Natural shares advanced 2.8% to $52.10. United Natural said Michael Zechmeister will replace Mark Shamber as chief financial officer in mid-October. The company reported fourth-quarter earnings of 72 cents a share on revenue of $2.06 billion, right in-line with consensus estimates from analysts surveyed by FactSet. United Natural forecast adjusted fiscal 2016 earnings of $2.86 to $2.98 a share on revenue of $8.51 billion to $8.67 billion, while analysts estimate $2.94 a share on revenue of $8.56 billion.
